I rate it cosmetically a (9+). The camera is in proper working order; film advances properly, the viewfinder is clear, the shutter is accurate at all speeds, the meter functions properly, the rangefinder is bright & accurate, and the battery compartment is corrosion-free. There's extremely faint haze visible only when shining a light through the viewfinder, a result of the camera being bought new and kept sealed and unused for so long, but it is not noticeable when looking through the finder.

The included Leica 35mm f2 Summicron-M Asph prime lens (Silver), #3945387, is in similar condition, also rated a (9+). The focus and aperture rings are smooth, the aperture functions properly, and the glass is clean and clear with no haze, marks, or fungus. It is for Leica M mount. The included Leica Leicavit M rapid winder (Hammertone), #00031, is also rated a (9+) and is in proper working order.

This listing includes a Leica neck strap, a plastic Leica body cap, presentation cases for the body & Leicavit, a leather Leica lens case, a hammertone clip-on lens hood, a silver metal Leica front lens cap, a plastic Leica rear lens cap, and the original instructions & boxes for all three components. It uses either one (1) 3V battery or two (2) 1.5V batteries; the original vintage 3V Leica battery is still included, but it should not be used due to its age. This camera is ready for use!
