This innovation brought popularity among US Presidents, including Harry S. Truman, giving Vulcain the reputation of being “The Watch for Presidents.”  Vulcain continues to produce timepieces today, including their patented V-11 Cricket Calibre.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe Watch:\u003c\/strong\u003e  This Vulcain Chronograph Ref 1376 features a 37mm nickel-plated brass case and an acrylic crystal.  The silver panda-style dial features a red timing scale and a black minutes track at the outer edge.  The hour markers are metal with baton-shaped hour and minute hands and a bright red chronograph seconds hand.  The two black sub-dials feature white pencil-shaped hands. The case appears to be unpolished and has sharp case lines present throughout.
