Panasonic Lumix S

I left on a trip just after receiving the lens. I have been using it most of the time. I am very happy with the images I have reviewed so far. I am thinking this may be on my SL3 a whole lot.

Lives up to the hype. Same size as, but lighter than my M11 with grip. I love this camera for travel, especially for the weight/size and IQ (mostly the dynamic range). Looks best in black, silver a bit fake looking. I do think this camera needs a 2.8 aperture though, as there’s really no way to knock out backgrounds unless up close to subject. Takes some time to adjust to the Fuji menus if not a Fuji shooter. The joystick is not well engineered. Did not miss IBIS or OIS. One of the best landscape and travel cameras made if you like the 28mm focal length.

Most often shot wide open, f/2.0. Easy to focus and no distortions. The lens hood works well with an E39 filter attached. The lens is small and well balanced.
For photographers with large hands you might wand to buy the classic black matte APOI 50 lens with the tiger claw focusing at an additional 100 grams weight.

This adapter is machined to perfection. Only as Leica can. The first few fittings are very tight. I recommend mounting the adapter to the lens first. Then mount to the camera. This gives the leverage needed for a smooth mounting while the adapter breaks in.

Beautiful & functional as new. I use this roll film back only for portraitures, as I found it easier to advance the film rather than change 4x5 film holders. And to save time in film processing. Works like a charm. My two lens 90 & 150, is equivalent to a 45mm & 75mm respectively in the 6x7cm format. Great to have the added versatility.
