Eleven aperture blades form a circular aperture that gives out-of-focus areas a smooth, harmonious, and uniform look, complementing the lens's crisp in-focus rendering.

Sharp and Distortion-Free

A 7-element, 5-group design with one aspherical surface corrects spherical aberrations, delivering pin-sharp pictures with rich contrast and almost complete freedom from distortion at all apertures and distances, even wide open.

Compact All-Metal Build

At about 252 g and only 35.7 mm long, the full-metal barrel uses a finely tuned focusing mechanism with a short throw for accurate manual focus. A rectangular metal screw-on hood and protector ring are included, on a 6-bit-coded Leica M bayonet. Made in Germany.
