The Leica R-Adapter L opens Leica's deep R-lens catalog to the L-Mount SL system, mounting 43 select Leica R lenses (those made from 1976 onward) on the SL (Typ 601), SL2, and SL2-S. An aluminum body holds each lens in precise, wobble-free alignment for full-frame shooting.

ROM-capable R lenses are recognized automatically, so lens identification carries through to the camera, and the removable tripod shoe with a 1/4-inch thread steadies heavier telephotos and eases load on the mount.
