The foundation is provided by a 44 MP BSI full-frame sensor, which delivers high detail resolution, up to 14 stops of dynamic range and strong low-light performance. This results in images of the highest quality, showcasing subtle tonal gradations and excellent color rendering. You also have access to the Multishot mode when maximum resolution is required, which offers up to 176 MP.

Its hybrid autofocus intelligently recognizes and tracks subjects, even in dynamic scenes, by combining phase detection, depth mapping and contrast measurement. Up to 40 fps with full AF support, 819 phase-detection AF points and 5-axis image stabilization combine to deliver high speed and precise image composition.

Designed for Ease of Use

A camera should feel intuitive right from the moment you first pick it up. The Leica SL3-P provides a highly intuitive user interface offering immediate and clear access to settings — customizable and highly adaptable. Photo and video modes are clearly separated and color-coded: red for photos and yellow for videos. The interface automatically adjusts to portrait and landscape orientation, including all touch functions. Everything remains legible and easy to operate.

Video Production With Complete Flexibility

Classic 16:9 playback, vertical formats and slow motion — modern video production demands flexibility as soon as you press record. The Leica SL3-P enables you to shoot video in up to 8K open gate in the native 3:2 format. This makes full use of the sensor possible and gives you significantly greater freedom when selecting your frame later on. For smooth motion, 5.9K at 60p and 4K at 120p are available. One camera. Leica Looks presets enable consistent image styles from the moment you start shooting, while Leica Content Credentials verify the origin and authorship of your images.
