2.8C Xenotar 1411865

This Rollei 2.8C (Rolleiflex) medium format twin-lens reflex film camera, #1411865, is in heavily used condition with significant paint loss, edge wear, and cosmetic marks throughout. I rate it cosmetically a (7+). The camera is in proper working order; film advances properly, the focus knob is smooth, and the built-in waist-level finder opens & closes and has a clear magnifier. The grid focusing screen has some marks and specks, but is otherwise clear. The aperture wheel is a bit stiff and the shutter speed wheel is very stiff, particularly at slower speeds and when changing to bulb mode, but the shutter is accurate at all speeds and the aperture functions properly. The built-in Schneider-Kreuznach 80mm f2.8 Xenotar taking lens, #3591876, and Rollei 80mm f2.8 Heidosmat viewing lens, #710113, are in similar condition, also rated a (7+); the glass is clean and clear with no haze, marks, or fungus. There are a few faint specks of dust inside, but they do not affect image quality. No additional accessories are included. This camera is ready for use! Please refer to the photos for details.
