The Panasonic LUMIX S 18mm f/1.8 is an ultra-wide full-frame prime for L-mount cameras, covering a 100 degree diagonal angle of view at a bright f/1.8. Thirteen elements in twelve groups, including three aspherical, three ED, one UED, and one UHR element, work against chromatic aberration and hold detail out toward the corners. Panasonic points it at landscape, architecture, and astrophotography, and the 0.18m close focus lets you push in on a foreground subject.

It matches the rest of the LUMIX S f/1.8 primes on the numbers that affect handling: a 67mm filter thread and a 73.6mm by 82.0mm barrel, with the control rings in the same places. Move from the 35mm to this one on a gimbal and the rebalance is minimal. At 340g it sits toward the heavier end of that family and still carries easily. Focus is internal and driven by a linear motor, so nothing extends and the noise stays low, and the aperture moves in micro steps for video. We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%. This fee is not for profit, but to cover the costs associated with selling an item. Each return is evaluated individually, and we strive to minimize this fee. In many instances, we waive it entirely if the refund credit can be applied towards another item in the store.

Please note, all returned items must be in the condition in which they were shipped. If the items are returned in a different condition, we will not be able to accept them.

If your chosen item is not available at your preferred store, we can transfer it there after purchase. If the estimate is satisfactory to you, we can provide a shipping label for you to ship your gear to one of our stores for a final inspection and store credit. Finally, we apply that credit towards your new gear!
