This 35mm full-frame standard zoom lens covers the frequently-used 28mm to 60mm focal length range (36-75mm on APS-C cameras), despite being the world’s smallest and lightest full-frame E-mount standard zoom lens. It delivers high performance through its optical design that includes three aspherical lens elements which effectively suppresses aberrations and extract maximum image quality performance from the Alpha series. It is ideal for creators on the go using either full-frame or APS-C cameras for stills or movie recording.

7-blade circular aperture

This ultra-compact lightweight zoom includes a 7-blade circular aperture that provides beautiful defocused background bokeh. When changing your aperture to defocus the background, the areas out of the focal plane appear blurred. This ‘bokeh’ effect of the blurred background is enhanced with circular aperture blades used in this lens that render perfectly round out of focus light points.
