The Leica Ever-Ready Case M/M-P in cognac is a naturally tanned leather case for the M and M-P, built with the short front section. It clears 75mm M lenses and any shorter optic that measures up to 70mm from the bayonet flange. The Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 is the one exception and needs the long front version.

The front folds down so the camera is ready to shoot without unpacking, and it comes off entirely without tools if you would rather run it as a protector. The back stays open so the controls and screen are usable with the case on, and the base rotates for battery and card changes. Which Lenses Fit

The short front section takes 75mm M lenses and any shorter optic measuring up to 70mm from the bayonet flange. The Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 is the exception and needs the long front version instead. Measure from the flange rather than guessing by focal length, since hoods and wider barrels are what usually cause the problem.

Ready Without Unpacking

The front folds down so you can shoot without taking the camera out. The back of the case leaves the controls and screen clear, and the bottom section rotates so you can get to the battery and memory card without removing the whole thing.

Case or Half Case

The front section comes off completely, no tools needed, which turns the case into a protector that stays on the body all day. Naturally tanned leather in cognac gives you a warmer look than the black version and shows handling more readily.
