The Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary is a remarkably compact constant-aperture standard zoom designed natively for Fujifilm X-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. Its 18-50mm range covers a 27-75mm full-frame equivalent field of view, spanning wide-angle to short telephoto in one lightweight package.
A bright f2.8 aperture is maintained through the entire zoom range for consistent exposure and attractive background blur, while the latest optical design keeps images sharp corner to corner. A short 12.1cm minimum focusing distance and 1:2.8 maximum magnification make it capable for close-ups.
At roughly 290g it is one of the smallest and lightest constant-f2.8 zooms in its class, making it an ideal everyday lens for X-mount shooters.
