The X2Dii is terrific. I have too many cameras at home. When I think of going somewhere on family trips or photo shoots, it is the camera that I take along. I may bring others, but the X2Dii gets the most travel time. Why? I love shooting with it. It handles well in hand. EVF and LCD are wonderful for framing an image. Autofocus works, regardless of texture, color or amount of ambient light. Joystick could be higher on the body, but it is still better than no joystick. Colors are so lifelike… better than any other camera I have used (Sony, Leica, Nikon, etc.). And yes, I love my Leica cameras. This X2Dii is just a joy to use. And it produces images that are a joy to pixel peep, edit, and share with others (printed or electronic). My favorite camera.

I’ve learned the hard way that finding a 50-year-old Nikon that works as well as it did in 1975 is no easy task. Yet the F2AS I purchased from Camera West is that camera. On E-bay one can find an F2AS meter head, the DP-12, from many sellers, but finding one that really works is trial and error — mostly error. Camera West gets five stars for offering a Nikon F2AS that does what it should!

This was exactly what I was looking for and in perfect condition. Perfect for my collection and use of film cameras. And of course, buying from Camera West couldn’t be better or simpler.

I ordered the new Xpan 90mm lens on Camera West Used Market place. It arrived a couple of days later and was packaged very safely and in great shape.

Based upon one week of use, the lens is exactly what it should be: a fast focusing, reasonably sharp telephoto to super telephoto zoom. I've been using it for birds and wildlife, and it does a great job. It's not particularly fast (f/8 at most focal lengths), so there is no need to stop it down for best image quality as diffraction becomes the limiting factor. Matched up with the modern autofocus capabilities of the X-H2S or X-T5, it achieves a reasonable AF "hit" rate even on birds in flight. I have successfully tracked soaring bald eagles at 600mm and been very pleased with the images. If you want a moderately priced (for its capabilities) super tele zoom for the Fuji system, this is the obvious choice. It is lighter than its size suggests, and I love the fact that it's an internal zoom, even if that comes at the cost of some extra length when stored. Recommended.

Better than described, this camera besides a little brassing (which is really cool) works great. Having loads of fun with it. Camera West has always been a joy to buy from.
