A floating elements system ensures consistent image quality across the focusing range, while the ZEISS T* coating reduces flare and ghosting in challenging lighting. The lens features an innovative OLED display showing focus distance and depth of field, and uses linear motors for fast, quiet autofocus suitable for stills and video. Its dust- and moisture-resistant construction supports reliable use in demanding environments. Compatible with full-frame and APS-C Sony E-mount cameras, it offers a bright f/2.8 aperture for low-light performance and precise control.
