Brand Leica System Leica M

The Leica M6 returns the definitive analog rangefinder to production, faithfully rebuilt around the beloved 1984 original. A 0.72x viewfinder with fully coated glass reduces flare, while a mechanically controlled cloth focal-plane shutter and TTL selective metering give you the pure, battery-light shooting experience that made the M6 a legend, now with modern electronics inside.

For you, the details matter: a top plate milled from solid brass, the red Leitz logo, an updated meter that adds a central red dot for spot-on exposure, and a battery warning. Handmade in Germany and finished with M6-typical embossing and packaging, it is a film camera you'll pass down for generations.

Buy from an authorized Leica dealer like Camera West to ensure a genuine product with full manufacturer warranty and expert support.

All shipments are fully insured; orders over $150 require a signature. FedEx Express 2-Day and Overnight within the US. Returns accepted within 14 days and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Wonderful!

Classic with all of the modern updates. No rangefinder flare, an in body meter that matches my hand held sekonic. This is a camera to have for life that I will pass on one day to my son. Happy to purchase locally from this great team. The Q was my 40th bday present and this m6 my 50th. It’s been a great and expensive ride! But worth it…thanks Leica Store SF

A Viewfinder Built to Last

The 0.72x bright-line rangefinder uses fully coated glass surfaces to reduce sensitivity to stray light, with automatic parallax compensation for accurate, confident framing.

Refined, Modern Internals

An updated TTL light meter shows correct exposure via a central red dot in addition to the two arrows, adds a battery-warning indicator, and rebuilds the classic ISO dial with modern electronic components.

Crafted in Germany

The top cover is milled from solid brass and finished in abrasion-resistant black lacquer, complete with the red Leitz logo, M6-typical embossing, and original-style packaging.
