Each return is evaluated individually, and we strive to minimize this fee. In many instances, we waive it entirely if the refund credit can be applied towards another item in the store.

We highly recommend visiting us in person to experience our fine photographic tools before deciding which tool best fits your needs. Please note that our inventory is distributed among our three stores, and what you see online may be at any of these locations. Below are a few points that we’d like to make in order to meet your needs for in store pick up.

The location of each item is indicated online. For convenience, you can choose to pick up your item at any of our stores. Once purchased, the item should be ready for pick up within 4 hours at the designated store, although this might vary depending on the store's busyness and time of day. If your chosen item is not available at your preferred store, we can transfer it there after purchase. If you want to pick up an item at a different store, select that store for pick up during checkout, or choose a regular shipping method and let us know your preferred pick up store via support@camerawest.com or by responding to your order confirmation email.

We offer a concierge trade-in program for the gear you'd like to upgrade, cross-grade, or simply pass on to a new owner. This enables you to acquire the tools that fit your specific needs. The easiest way to trade is to bring your gear into one of our stores and meet with us in person. However, we also accommodate those who can't visit our stores. Our online process is both personal and simple.

To begin, fill out the form on our Trade // Sell page with the details of the fine photographic equipment or watches you'd like to trade in. One of our team members will then contact you to confirm any details we might need for an accurate estimate. We will provide an estimate that doesn’t only look at the value of your trade in but the whole picture of where you want to go. If the estimate is satisfactory to you, we can provide a shipping label for you to ship your gear to one of our stores for a final inspection and store credit. Finally, we apply that credit towards your new gear!

The Essential Pro Zoom, Redefined

The NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S II sets a new standard for professional zoom lenses. With the world’s first internal zoom in its class, it offers unmatched versatility, stability, and handling. Smaller, lighter, and more durable than its predecessor, it combines a new optical formula with cutting-edge technology to deliver stunning sharpness, beautiful bokeh, and advanced anti-glare performance.

Unrivaled Stability and Durability

Thanks to its fixed length and internal zoom design, this lens maintains perfect balance across the entire focal range—ideal for use on gimbals, rigs, or matte boxes. With no extending parts, the lens offers superior protection against dust and moisture while also ensuring a lighter, more robust barrel construction.

Nikon’s Fastest and Quietest Autofocus

Powered by Silky Swift Voice Coil Motors (SSVCM), the lens achieves autofocus that is five times faster and 50% quieter than its predecessor. Enhanced focus tracking keeps subjects sharp during zooming, while reduced focus breathing enables smooth transitions for video. The result is a reliable system that performs flawlessly in both still photography and video recording.

Compact, Lightweight, and Highly Customizable

Weighing just 675 grams—15% lighter than the previous model—this lens is the lightest full-frame 24-70mm f/2.8 in the world. It also features a customizable control ring with optional click stops, a focus limit switch for faster precision, and a close focus distance of just 9.4 inches with up to 0.32x magnification.

S-Line Optical Excellence

As part of Nikon’s premium S-Line, the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S II delivers image quality that rivals prime lenses. Extra-low Dispersion (ED) and Aspherical ED glass elements minimize distortion and color fringing, while Meso Amorphous and ARNEO coatings eliminate flare and ghosting. The constant f/2.8 aperture with 11 rounded blades creates smooth, natural bokeh with lifelike depth.

The Ultimate Professional Zoom Trio

Together with the NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S and 70-200mm f/2.8 S, the 24-70mm f/2.8 S II completes Nikon’s ultimate internal zoom trio. Covering focal lengths from 14mm to 200mm, these three lenses deliver seamless handling, consistent operation, and uncompromising image quality for professionals who demand the best.

Silky Swift VCM

A fast, precise, and nearly silent autofocus motor used in NIKKOR Z lenses. It works smoothly even with heavy lenses, reducing noise and vibration—ideal for video recording or quiet environments.

Warning: Contains magnets. Do not use if you have a pacemaker or certain medical devices.

Meso Amorphous Coat

Nikon’s best anti-reflection coating. It minimizes ghosting and flare from light hitting the lens at any angle, producing clearer images even in tough lighting. Uses ultra-fine particles for stronger performance than older coatings.

ARNEO Coat

Works with Nano Crystal Coat to cut down on flare and ghosting from vertical light sources. Helps capture clear images even with bright lights in the frame.

Fluorine Coat

Protects the lens surface by repelling dust, water, grease, and dirt. Easy to clean, durable against frequent wiping, and helps keep images sharp.

Internal Focus (IF)

Only the internal lens elements move when focusing, keeping the lens compact and stable.

ED Glass

Special glass that reduces color fringing (chromatic aberration) for sharper, clearer images.

Aspherical Lens (AS)

Lens elements shaped to correct distortion and aberrations that normal spherical lenses cannot fix.

A/M Mode

Auto-Priority Manual Mode lets you quickly switch from autofocus to manual focus, with reduced risk of accidental switching.

Multi-Focus System

Moves multiple lens groups precisely to suppress aberrations and improve image sharpness at all distances. Also enables faster autofocus.

Electromagnetic Diaphragm

Uses electronic control for more accurate and consistent aperture settings during continuous shooting, unlike older mechanical systems.
