Product information

All our shipments are fully insured. For shipments valued over $150, a direct signature will be required upon delivery.

We utilize various shipping carriers, with FedEx Express being our primary choice for 2-Day and Overnight shipping within the US, as well as International deliveries.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%. This fee is not for profit, but to cover the costs associated with selling an item. Each return is evaluated individually, and we strive to minimize this fee. In many instances, we waive it entirely if the refund credit can be applied towards another item in the store.

Please note, all returned items must be in the condition in which they were shipped. If the items are returned in a different condition, we will not be able to accept them.

We highly recommend visiting us in person to experience our fine photographic tools before deciding which tool best fits your needs. Please note that our inventory is distributed among our three stores, and what you see online may be at any of these locations. Below are a few points that we’d like to make in order to meet your needs for in store pick up.

The location of each item is indicated online. For convenience, you can choose to pick up your item at any of our stores. Once purchased, the item should be ready for pick up within 4 hours at the designated store, although this might vary depending on the store's busyness and time of day. We request that you wait for a notification from us confirming that your order is ready for pick up, to ensure the best service.

If your chosen item is not available at your preferred store, we can transfer it there after purchase. If you want to pick up an item at a different store, select that store for pick up during checkout, or choose a regular shipping method and let us know your preferred pick up store via support@camerawest.com or by responding to your order confirmation email.

For any questions about in-store pick up, please email support@camerawest.com. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

We offer a concierge trade-in program for the gear you'd like to upgrade, cross-grade, or simply pass on to a new owner. This enables you to acquire the tools that fit your specific needs. The easiest way to trade is to bring your gear into one of our stores and meet with us in person. However, we also accommodate those who can't visit our stores. Our online process is both personal and simple.

To begin, fill out the form on our Trade // Sell page with the details of the fine photographic equipment or watches you'd like to trade in. One of our team members will then contact you to confirm any details we might need for an accurate estimate. We will provide an estimate that doesn’t only look at the value of your trade in but the whole picture of where you want to go. If the estimate is satisfactory to you, we can provide a shipping label for you to ship your gear to one of our stores for a final inspection and store credit. Finally, we apply that credit towards your new gear!

More Info
Cinematic NIKON quality.

For almost a century, professional cinematographers have used Nikon lenses to bring their creative visions to life. The NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ builds on this legacy, providing exceptional versatility to the filmmakers of today.

Extended reach.

Prime lens quality with the flexibility of a wide-ranging zoom covering 28 to 135mm. In combination with the Hi-Res Zoom feature in compatible Nikon Z mirrorless cameras, the zoom range of the lens can be extended seamlessly up to 270mm (equivalent).

Get closer.

Constant maximum aperture of f/4 and minimum focus distance of 13.4 in (0.34 m)2allows for dynamic closeups with cinematic blurred backgrounds—ideal for product and commercial videos.

One-touch zoom.

Switch from a sweeping establishing shot to a powerful closeup in a snap with a customizable rocker-style zoom control. Quick punch-in or smooth, slow zoom—with 11 speed options, the choice is yours.

Balanced design.

The internal zoom mechanism ensures that the physical length of the NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ lens stays constant during zooming, with only a tiny change to the center of gravity—essential for mounting on gimbals, drones and robotic heads.

High-performance coatings

Nikon's proprietary Meso Amorphous Coat helps keep contrast high, while a fluorine coating on the front element repels dust and moisture.

Autofocus you can trust.

For on-the-run, documentary-style shooting where speed and convenience are key, the STM autofocus motor provides fast, reliable autofocus at every focal length.

Precise focus pulling.

Support for linear focus allows you to dial in the exact desired rotation of the focus or control ring for absolute precision. The large, ergonomically-textured focus ring makes precise manual focus adjustment easy, and knurled focus and zoom rings are directly compatible with follow-focus accessories.

Change focus, not framing.

Focus breathing is highly suppressed, so even during extreme focus pulls, your angle of view won't change.

Pull focus by touch.

Use the Save and Recall Focus feature in select Nikon Z mirrorless cameras5to jump to a pre-programmed focus point in an instant, at the press of a button.

Easy Access to Filters

The HB-116 hood includes a cut-out notch for easy on-the-go adjustment of variable ND filters.

Technology
  • ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) Glass
An optical glass developed by Nikon that is used with normal optical glass in telephoto lenses to obtain optimum correction of chromatic aberrations.
  • Power Zoom
The power zoom* has been designed in pursuit of light and responsive operational feel. This function achieves smooth zooming at a constant speed and various options for zoom operation including via remote-control capabilities. That ensures comfortable photo shooting and video recording. *With some cameras, this function is supported only via firmware update.
  • Fluorine Coat
Photographers need gear that can withstand the elements. Nikon’s fluorine coat effectively repels dust, water droplets, grease or dirt, ensuring easy removal even when they adhere to the lens surface. Nikon’s fluorine coat endures a high frequency of lens surface wiping and its anti-reflective effect also contributes to the capture of clear images.
  • Meso Amorphous Coat
Meso Amorphous Coat* realizes the highest anti-reflection performance in NIKKOR history. Meso Amorphous Coat provides an effect superior to that of Nano Crystal Coat for diagonal incident light, and an effect equivalent or superior to ARNEO Coat for vertical incident light. With its superb performance, ghost and flare caused by incident light from various directions are noticeably reduced, delivering clear images even under harsh conditions.  *With this coating system, amorphous particles, that are even smaller than nano particles, are utilized to create even more gaps within the coating to form an ultra-fine mesoporous structure, attaining a lower refractive index. In addition, a higher-precision base coat is employed to further enhance the anti-reflection effect.
  • Aspherical Lens
A lens with a curved, non-spherical surface. Used to reduce aberrations and enable a more compact lens size. Aspherical lenses minimize coma and other types of lens aberrations, even when used at the widest aperture. They are particularly useful in correcting distortion in wide-angle lenses and help contribute to a lighter, more compact design by reducing the number of standard (spherical) elements necessary. Aspherical lens elements correct these distortions by continuously changing the refractive index from the center of the lens.
  • Aspherical – Extra-low Dispersion Glass Elements
An ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element that features the characteristics of an Aspheric glass element for a more compact size lens. Like Aspherical lenses, AS-ED lens elements minimize coma and other types of lens aberrations, even when used at the widest aperture by continuously changing the refractive index from the center of the lens. The AS-ED lens elements are optical glass developed by Nikon to obtain optimum correction of chromatic aberrations.
  • Stepping Motor
NIKKOR Z lenses use a stepping motor for fast, accurate, smooth, quiet autofocus with reduced wobbling. This quiet drive system makes the lenses ideal for use when shooting video.
  • A/M
A/M stands for Auto-Priority Manual Mode. This mode also enables an easy transition from autofocus to manual during AF operation. However, mode switch sensitivity has been altered to reduce the possibility of sudden unintentional switching to manual focus while shooting.
  • IF Lens
A NIKKOR lens in which only the internal lens group shifts during focusing. Thus, IF NIKKORS do not change in size during AF operation, allowing for compact, lightweight lenses capable of closer focusing distances. These lenses will be designated with the abbreviation IF on the lens barrel.
  • Electromagnetic Diaphragm Mechanism
An electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism in the lens barrel provides highly accurate electronic diaphragm or aperture blade control when using auto exposure during continuous shooting.
