Product information
All our shipments are fully insured. For shipments valued over $150, a direct signature will be required upon delivery.
We utilize various shipping carriers, with FedEx Express being our primary choice for 2-Day and Overnight shipping within the US, as well as International deliveries.
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%. This fee is not for profit, but to cover the costs associated with selling an item. Each return is evaluated individually, and we strive to minimize this fee. In many instances, we waive it entirely if the refund credit can be applied towards another item in the store.
Please note, all returned items must be in the condition in which they were shipped. If the items are returned in a different condition, we will not be able to accept them.
We highly recommend visiting us in person to experience our fine photographic tools before deciding which tool best fits your needs. Please note that our inventory is distributed among our three stores, and what you see online may be at any of these locations. Below are a few points that we’d like to make in order to meet your needs for in store pick up.
The location of each item is indicated online. For convenience, you can choose to pick up your item at any of our stores. Once purchased, the item should be ready for pick up within 4 hours at the designated store, although this might vary depending on the store's busyness and time of day. We request that you wait for a notification from us confirming that your order is ready for pick up, to ensure the best service.
If your chosen item is not available at your preferred store, we can transfer it there after purchase. If you want to pick up an item at a different store, select that store for pick up during checkout, or choose a regular shipping method and let us know your preferred pick up store via support@camerawest.com or by responding to your order confirmation email.
For any questions about in-store pick up, please email support@camerawest.com. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
We offer a concierge trade-in program for the gear you'd like to upgrade, cross-grade, or simply pass on to a new owner. This enables you to acquire the tools that fit your specific needs. The easiest way to trade is to bring your gear into one of our stores and meet with us in person. However, we also accommodate those who can't visit our stores. Our online process is both personal and simple.
To begin, fill out the form on our Trade // Sell page with the details of the fine photographic equipment or watches you'd like to trade in. One of our team members will then contact you to confirm any details we might need for an accurate estimate. We will provide an estimate that doesn’t only look at the value of your trade in but the whole picture of where you want to go. If the estimate is satisfactory to you, we can provide a shipping label for you to ship your gear to one of our stores for a final inspection and store credit. Finally, we apply that credit towards your new gear!
More Info
The full-frame difference.
Superior image quality and greater versatility.
The Z5II’s full-frame BSI-CMOS sensor is 50% larger than competitive APS-C models. That means it collects more light, so you can enjoy cleaner, more detailed images in all conditions. Plus, there’s no crop factor with full-frame/FX format Nikkor Z lenses, so wide-angles stay genuinely wide.
Fast, intelligent autofocus.
Powered by Nikon’s unique deep learning-based AI technology and finely-tuned to give you great results in a huge range of shooting situations.
Effortless subject detection.
People, dogs, cats, birds and vehicles—the Z5II can automatically detect and accurately track nine distinct subjects. Plus dedicated [Bird] and [Airplane] modes for even greater autofocus accuracy.
Incredible precision.
High-speed autofocus acquisition combines with amazing accuracy for sharp focus in all conditions, even when your subjects are tiny in the frame.
3D-tracking with subject detection.
Position the AF point over your subject, and the Z5II will automatically track to keep it in focus.
Smart focus.
In AF-A mode, the Z5II automatically detects subject movement and switches to tracking autofocus when necessary.
Uncompromising speed.
Maximum frame rate of 14 frames per second in mechanical shutter mode and up to 30 frames per second (electronic shutter) with full autofocus.
Pre-Release Capture.
Sometimes you only recognize the decisive moment after it has passed. Capture the action before you fully press the shutter release button—at up to 30 fps—saving shots that would otherwise have been missed.
New opportunities in low light.
Your creativity doesn’t stop when the sun goes down, and neither does the Z5II. Keep on shooting even in almost complete darkness, with stunning high ISO image quality and a suite of features designed to unlock new creative possibilities in low light.
Focus confidently in low light.
Class-leading autofocus detection down to -10EV delivers accurate, reliable focus in dim and dark conditions—great for live performance.
See in the dark.
Starlight View mode gives a clear view even in virtually complete darkness, helping you find the perfect composition for astrophotography.
Shake-free shooting.
Leave your tripod at home thanks to built-in 5-axis Vibration Reduction, delivering up to 7.5 stops of image stabilization. Focus Point VR prioritizes stabilization on the active focus point.
Expanded ISO range.
With a standard ISO sensitivity range of 100–64,000 expandable to Hi 1.7 (ISO 204,800 equivalent), the Z5II can continue to capture detailed images even in ultra-low light.
Extended shutter speeds.
Enjoy shutter speeds as long as 900 seconds (15 minutes) in manual exposure mode. Perfect for extreme long-exposure nightscapes and star trails.
Warm Display Colors.
When shooting at night, the brightness of the LCD and EVF can be distracting, even turned all the way down. In Warm Display Colors mode the information display is switched from white to red to preserve your night vision.
