The Leica Ultravid 10x32 HD-Plus puts 10x magnification in the compact 32 mm Ultravid body, weighing about 565 g. You get more reach for birds across a meadow or wildlife on a far slope without moving up to a 42 mm binocular. Fluoride lens elements and Leica's HDC coatings keep the image bright and neutral in color.

Like the rest of the line, it is built on a magnesium chassis with a titanium hinge axle, nitrogen-filled and waterproof to 5 m. Close focus is about 2 m, and focus goes from there to infinity in under two turns. The tradeoff is a 3.2 mm exit pupil and a 118 m field, so it gives up some brightness in poor light and a little steadiness compared with the 8x32. Our team can help you decide which of the two suits the way you use binoculars.

Buy from an authorized Leica dealer like Camera West to ensure a genuine product with full manufacturer warranty and expert support.

All shipments are fully insured; orders over $150 require a signature. FedEx Express 2-Day and Overnight within the US. Returns accepted within 14 days and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

More Reach, Same Size

The 10x32 shares the 8x32's footprint (116 mm wide, 56 mm deep) and adds only about 30 g. For hikers who want extra detail at distance, that is an easy trade.

Fast, Close Focus

Focus runs from about 2 m to infinity in less than two full turns. That speed helps when you are following birds that keep changing distance.

Know the Tradeoff

At 10x, hand shake shows more and the 3.2 mm exit pupil gets dim sooner as light fades. If you often glass at dusk, a 42 or 50 mm Ultravid will be more comfortable.
