The ideal photo, travel, and business backpack is made from Oberwerth's soft but extremely durable leather.

The shape of the backpack enables the ideal storage of tablets, photographic equipment, and travel or business utensils.

The backpack is extremely spacious and easy to load. The well-padded inner part of the photo is removable and can also be used for dust-proof storage of the photo equipment in the home display case. The backpack practically consists of three individual pockets: a tablet compartment, the spacious, removable photo bag that can be used in no time without photo equipment, and the practical front pocket for the cell phone, pens, passport, etc.

The back is well padded and allows continuous ventilation on the back. The risers are ergonomically arranged and also heavily lined with padding so that the equipment is not strained.

Like Oberwerth's photo bags, their backpack is elegant and casual at the same time. Made in Germany from tumbled, full-grain cowhide, this backpack also impresses with its velvety-soft feel and sporty, elegant look. It offers enough space for an SLR camera, lenses, and other photo equipment such as flashes or batteries. The removable inner pocket is covered with durable and water-repellent CORDURA® fabric and lined with soft, individually adjustable padding.

Your camera equipment is thus safely and reliably protected against shocks and external influences. If your camera equipment is not required, the inside pocket can be removed quickly and easily. This Oberwerth backpack can be converted from a camera to a casual, soft and light travel and / or business backpack in no time at all. The organizer compartment on the front enables mobile phones, travel documents, wallets, etc. to be safely stowed away when traveling.

Testing & Inspection

Each piece of pre-owned gear undergoes extensive testing and inspection to ensure it's in good working order. We meticulously note the finer details of an item's condition or function to maintain transparency. This attention to detail may deter some buyers when we mention "minor dust" in a lens, or "faint edge wear" on an otherwise mint condition camera. However, we note these details out of our responsibility to provide an accurate and wholistic representation of the item to you.

Real Photos & Description of The Specific Item

We provide a photo of each pre-owned item for sale, refusing to use generic images. Despite the time, effort, and cost saved, we consider using generic images dishonest. Each pre-owned item you view on our website includes specific photos and description written up by a real person, and photographed in house before we publish an item for sale.

24hr Inspection Period

All pre-owned items come with a 24-hour inspection period (beginning once the item is delivered) to ensure the item arrives as described. If any issues arise, we request you contact us immediately at support@camerawest.com so we can address the problem.

Our Cosmetic Condition Grading

All of our pre-owned items will contain a grade. This grade is a reflection of the cosmetics of an item only. (mechanics and function are noted in the description)

10- LIKE NEW | Item shows no visible signs of use. Usually includes some, if not all, of the original packaging. Item can be considered like new.9+VERY GOODItem shows very slight handling wear. Item is almost new, but used lightly.
9 GOOD | Item shows minor handling wear, usually shows some signs of edge wear.
8+ AVERAGE | Item shows regular signs of use, some edge wear, and normal cosmetic marks from general use.
8 BELOW AVERAGE | Item shows significant wear from normal use. Some paint loss, and edge wear. Regular cosmetic marks are visible.
7+ ACCEPTABLE BARGAIN | Item shows nominal signs of heavy use. Significant paint loss, edge wear and cosmetic marks are visible throughout the item.7AVERAGE BARGAINItem shows significant signs of heavy handling. Significant paint loss, edge wear, and visual marks can be seen throughout the item.

All our shipments are fully insured. For shipments valued over $150, a direct signature will be required upon delivery.

We utilize various shipping carriers, with FedEx Express being our primary choice for 2-Day and Overnight shipping within the US, as well as International deliveries.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%. This fee is not for profit, but to cover the costs associated with selling an item. Each return is evaluated individually, and we strive to minimize this fee. In many instances, we waive it entirely if the refund credit can be applied towards another item in the store.

Please note, all returned items must be in the condition in which they were shipped. If the items are returned in a different condition, we will not be able to accept them.

Every item we sell comes with a pre-owned warranty.

Unless noted as "AS IS", all items come with a 90-day warranty through Camera West. This warranty does not cover theft, improper use, fire or water damage, or any issues unrelated to the item functioning as intended by the manufacturer.

If you need to utilize the warranty, please contact us directly at support@camerawest.com to open a support ticket. This allows us to assist you effectively with the repair of your item. We do not accept receipts from repairs conducted without our consent. We need to manage the repair and inspection process from start to finish to ensure the issue is properly resolved and the product is returned to you in working condition.

Please note that vintage gear may require extra patience. Despite thorough inspection and testing, these items, like vintage cars, may develop issues due to their age. Even the most beautifully restored vintage items may have minor issues. They are no longer new and should be treated with special care and attentio
