The Leica Visoflex 2 slides into the accessory shoe of an M11 and replaces the rangefinder patch with a 3.7 megapixel OLED image. You see the actual framing and the actual depth of field, which is what you want for long lenses or close-up work where the rangefinder runs out of usefulness.

The housing is metal and finished to match the M11, and the eyepiece sets to 0, 45, or 90 degrees, held by a magnet in the flat position so it does not wander. An eye sensor wakes it as you bring the camera up, and the diopter runs from -3 to +4. It also works on M10 bodies once they are on the firmware Leica released in March 2022. What the Finder Adds

The 3.7 megapixel OLED panel gives you a large, high-contrast image with real depth of field, which the rangefinder patch cannot show you. That matters most with long lenses, with close-focus work, and any time you want to judge exposure and framing before the shutter rather than after.

Tilts and Locks

The eyepiece sets to 0, 45, or 90 degrees, so waist-level and low-angle shooting stop being guesswork. In the flat 0 degree position a magnet holds it put instead of leaving it loose. An eye sensor wakes the finder as you raise the camera, and the diopter adjusts from -3 to +4.

M10 Compatibility

The Visoflex 2 is designed around the M11 and matches its finish, but it also works on the M10, M10 Monochrom, M10-R, M10-P, and M10-D once those bodies have the firmware Leica released in March 2022. If your M10 has been sitting on older firmware, update it before you plan a shoot around the finder.
