About This Watch:

The Panerai Luminor 1950 PAM 127 is the first of Panerai’s Limited Edition 1950 series timepieces. Nicknamed “The Fiddy”, the PAM 127 was released in 2002, with a production run of only 1950 pieces. With a case design based on the original Luminor timepieces of the 1950s’, the PAM 127 has an exaggerated domed sapphire crystal, a patina-colored Luminova lume as well as a manual wind movement.

The History: Beginning in 1860, Guido Panerai & Figlio in Florence, Italy, began producing high-precision instruments built for the Royal Italian Navy. In 1938, as Officine Panerai, they began producing wristwatches for the Italian Navy Commandos, with the Radiomir and later the Luminor. It wasn’t until 1993 that they began to produce versions of the Radiomir and the Luminor for international sale to the public.

The Watch: The Panerai Luminor 1950 PAM 127 has a 47mm stainless steel case with an exaggerated domed sapphire crystal and a sapphire crystal exhibition back that showcases the manual wind Calibre OP XI movement. The PAM 127 has a black sandwich-style dial over a beige, patina-colored Luminova plate, with a seconds dial at the 9 o’clock position, as well as “1950” etched above the 6 o’clock position. The PAM 127 “Fiddy” has a power reserve of approximately 56 hours and a water resistance rating of 100 meters.

The Details: This Panerai Luminor 1950 PAM 127 is in very good condition. There are some wear markings present between the lugs on the case, the polished bezel, and on the lugs, which are visible in the photographs and are consistent with the age of this watch. This set comes with double boxes, and the Panerai limited edition numbered scroll (505/1950), strap changing tool, manual, guarantee certificates booklet, warranty card, chronometer certificate, serial number sticker, and certificates holder. This PAM 127 also comes with the brown and tan leather Panerai straps and the stainless steel Panerai tang-style buckle.

Our online process is both personal and simple.

To begin, fill out the form on our Trade // Sell page with the details of the fine photographic equipment or watches you'd like to trade in. One of our team members will then contact you to confirm any details we might need for an accurate estimate. We will provide an estimate that doesn’t only look at the value of your trade in but the whole picture of where you want to go. If the estimate is satisfactory to you, we can provide a shipping label for you to ship your gear to one of our stores for a final inspection and store credit.
