Inspection Notes
This Rollei 2.8 FX (Rolleiflex 2,8 FX) medium format film camera, #6012127, is in good cosmetic condition with minor handling and edge wear. I rate it cosmetically a (9). The camera is in proper working order; film advances properly, the focus knob is smooth, the split prism grid focusing screen is clear, the meter functions, and the battery compartment is corrosion-free. The waist-level finder opens and closes and the magnifier is clear. The built-in Rollei 80mm f2.8 Planar taking lens, #8162117, and Rollei 80mm f2.8 Heidosmat viewing lens are in similar condition, also rated a (9). The shutter speed and aperture wheels are smooth, the shutter is accurate at all speeds, and the aperture functions properly. The glass is clean and clear with no haze, marks, or fungus. There are a few faint specks of dust inside, but they do not affect image quality. This camera includes a soft leather Rollei ever ready case with plastic base, a hard leather Rollei shoulder bag with neck strap, a plastic Rollei front cap, two Rollei MC-UV filters (Bay III), two Cam-In strap lugs, two keys for the case, a Bright Screen, and the original box. It uses one (1) 6V battery (not included). This camera is ready for use! Please refer to the photos for details.
