Multiple Layout Options
Includes removable and repositionable padded dividers for flexible equipment organization. The bag is compatible with over 20 divider sizes and styles, including SuperFlex Partitions, SuperFlex Flap, DF Dividers, and V-Bridge 15. Two SuperFlex Partitions, one SuperFlex Flap, and one V-Bridge 15 are included. SuperFlex dividers are flexible and can accommodate equipment slightly wider than their listed dimensions. The DF 15-15 divider runs front-to-back across the main compartment and is particularly useful for configurations such as carrying two cameras side by side.
Main Compartment and TukTop Feature
The main compartment is fully padded on all four sides and the base for added protection. Velcro strips on the front and back walls allow the padded dividers to be securely positioned. Slim storage spaces behind the front and rear padded walls provide four pockets for manuals, filters, and other small items. The TukTop feature allows the main compartment zips to be tucked away while using the bag, while still leaving room to store slim items.
Front Dump Pockets
Two large front dump pockets provide convenient storage for film, cables, batteries, memory cards, and other accessories. Each pocket has an adjacent small pen pocket, while a secondary flap protects the contents from dust, weather, and unwanted access. Dedicated leather quick-release straps provide fast and easy access to the pockets.
Full-Width Front Zip Pocket
A full-width front zip pocket provides enough space for a 14-inch MacBook Pro in a slim case. The pocket is padded on one side only and also contains two additional padded pockets suitable for small lenses, compact flashes, lavalier microphones, and similar accessories. Carrying a laptop may reduce the usable space in these smaller padded pockets.
Rear Pocket and Luggage Strap
A zipped rear pocket provides secure storage for maps, tickets, documents, and other essentials. The MKII version also includes a luggage trolley strap, allowing the bag to slide securely over the handle of a suitcase for easier travel.
Brass Feet
Durable brass feet are mounted on reinforced leather corner patches to help protect the bottom and corners of the bag from wear, while also extending its overall lifespan.
Leather Grab Handle
A comfortable leather grab handle wraps around the strong webbing carry straps. An additional internal webbing strap allows the bag to be carried safely using the front and rear handles even when the top flap is open.
Delta Sling and Optional Pockets
The shoulder sling is made from strong shuttle-woven polyester and includes a brass fitting for adjusting the length to suit your height and shooting style. The sling uses an inverted Y-shaped attachment at each end to improve weight distribution and keep the bag stable when heavily loaded. Optional Delta Pockets can also be attached to the lower sling attachment points for additional storage.
Quick Release Straps and Tripod Attachment
The quick-release system uses strong leather straps, solid brass D-rings, and reinforced webbing for secure and fast access. The design keeps the bag securely closed even when heavily loaded. Tripod straps can be attached to fittings on the front and rear of the bag, or depending on the tripod design, a tripod can be secured through the webbing of the bag's top handle.
335 MKII Improvements
The 335 MKII features a wider 50mm shoulder sling compared with the 38mm sling on the previous 335, along with the wider SP20 shoulder pad for improved comfort during extended carrying. It also adds a luggage trolley strap and includes a V-Bridge 15 divider for additional lens support options. The bag retains the SuperFlex divider system, reinforced Velcro attachment points, StormBlock waterproof lining, TukTop zip-storage system, and robust closed-cell foam padding. The main compartment is nearly identical in size to the Billingham 307 and uses the same removable padded base.
Construction and Materials
The bag is made from three-layer waterproof Canvas or FibreNyte fabric bonded to a polyester lining with a butyl rubber StormBlock layer, providing long-term waterproofing without the need for re-proofing. It features genuine top-grain, vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, solid brass hardware and fittings, and an individual serial number for quality control and authenticity. The bag includes a five-year manufacturer's guarantee and is handmade in England.
