Harman Phoenix 200 II is a character-rich color film that now features enhanced contrast, finer grain, better highlight and shadow retention, and improved sharpness. DX coded at ISO 200, it delivers optimal results between ISO 100 and 200 with C41 processing, though experimenting with E6 can yield interesting effects. This second-generation film is a complete reformulation of the original Phoenix, with redesigned layers, new dyes, couplers, and an innovative layer structure. While less unpredictable, it maintains distinct analog charm with increased exposure latitude and improved scanning compatibility, though precise exposure remains important for best results.
