Four color modes for high-contrast detail recognition

Both Calonox thermal cameras feature the four field-tested color modes Red Hot, White Hot, Black Hot, and Rainbow, which give the hunter extremely detailed and high-contrast images to accurately identify huntable game.

With the Calonox thermal cameras, Leica continues its long, successful track record in digital image optimization, and extends its excellent reputation as a camera manufacturer. Leica’s own image processing (Leica Image Optimization - LIO™) improves the image with special algorithms, thus achieving particularly detailed color gradations, excellent contrast, and high detail resolution.

The outstanding recognition range of the Leica Calonox Sight is based on a high-end vanadium oxide (VOx) sensor with 384 x 288 pixels and 17 µm pixel size with excellent temperature resolution.

Extremely precision, maximum repeatability

Every shot is a responsibility. The Leica Calonox Sight is the first choice when it comes to correct identification of game and ethical hunting. Maximum precision and repeatability are crucial here. To achieve this, the Leica Calonox Sight can be mounted on any riflescope using a suitable adapter.

See more, identify game safely: With a defined target size of 1.7 x 0.5 m, the Leica Calonox Sight can detect targets up to a distance of 2,000 meters, recognize targets up to 700 m, and precisely identify them up to 350 m.

Very large field of view & powerful digital zoom

The Calonox thermal cameras View and Sight have an astonishingly large field of view: for a better overview when shooting from blinds or stalking. The Leica Calonox View features a magnification range of 2.5x to 10x, so game can be reliably spotted and identified at any time.

Connectivity – the Calonox apps

The two Calonox apps provide quick and easy support for operating the thermal cameras: The Leica Calonox View can store photos or videos of all observations and transfer them to a smartphone via WLAN. To assist with zeroing in, the Leica Calonox Sight can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth and controlled remotely in the app.

Testing & Inspection

Each piece of pre-owned gear undergoes extensive testing and inspection to ensure it's in good working order. We meticulously note the finer details of an item's condition or function to maintain transparency. This attention to detail may deter some buyers when we mention "minor dust" in a lens, or "faint edge wear" on an otherwise mint condition camera. However, we note these details out of our responsibility to provide an accurate and wholistic representation of the item to you.

Real Photos & Description of The Specific Item

We provide a photo of each pre-owned item for sale, refusing to use generic images. Despite the time, effort, and cost saved, we consider using generic images dishonest. Each pre-owned item you view on our website includes specific photos and description written up by a real person, and photographed in house before we publish an item for sale.

24hr Inspection Period

All pre-owned items come with a 24-hour inspection period (beginning once the item is delivered) to ensure the item arrives as described. If any issues arise, we request you contact us immediately at support@camerawest.com so we can address the problem.

Our Cosmetic Condition Grading

All of our pre-owned items will contain a grade. This grade is a reflection of the cosmetics of an item only. (mechanics and function are noted in the description)

10- LIKE NEW | Item shows no visible signs of use. Usually includes some, if not all, of the original packaging. Item can be considered like new.9+VERY GOODItem shows very slight handling wear. Item is almost new, but used lightly.
9 GOOD | Item shows minor handling wear, usually shows some signs of edge wear.
8+ AVERAGE | Item shows regular signs of use, some edge wear, and normal cosmetic marks from general use.
8 BELOW AVERAGE | Item shows significant wear from normal use. Some paint loss, and edge wear. Regular cosmetic marks are visible.
7+ ACCEPTABLE BARGAIN | Item shows nominal signs of heavy use. Significant paint loss, edge wear and cosmetic marks are visible throughout the item.7AVERAGE BARGAINItem shows significant signs of heavy handling. Significant paint loss, edge wear, and visual marks can be seen throughout the item.

All our shipments are fully insured. For shipments valued over $150, a direct signature will be required upon delivery.

We utilize various shipping carriers, with FedEx Express being our primary choice for 2-Day and Overnight shipping within the US, as well as International deliveries.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%. This fee is not for profit, but to cover the costs associated with selling an item. Each return is evaluated individually, and we strive to minimize this fee. In many instances, we waive it entirely if the refund credit can be applied towards another item in the store.

Please note, all returned items must be in the condition in which they were shipped. If the items are returned in a different condition, we will not be able to accept them.

Every item we sell comes with a pre-owned warranty.

Unless noted as "AS IS", all items come with a 90-day warranty through Camera West. This warranty does not cover theft, improper use, fire or water damage, or any issues unrelated to the item functioning as intended by the manufacturer.

If you need to utilize the warranty, please contact us directly at support@camerawest.com to open a support ticket. This allows us to assist you effectively with the repair of your item. We do not accept receipts from repairs conducted without our consent. We need to manage the repair and inspection process from start to finish to ensure the issue is properly resolved and the product is returned to you in working condition.

Please note that vintage gear may require extra patience. Despite thorough inspection and testing, these items, like vintage cars, may develop issues due to their age. Even the most beautifully restored vintage items may have minor issues. They are no longer new and should be treated with special care and attentio
